Getting to Villa Renata
We are located at Via Case Sparse 20 – 53015 Monticiano, Siena. (GPS 43.1351367, 11.1669852)
To fully enjoy your holiday, we strongly recommend having a car.
You can easily reach us with your own vehicle or rent one at the airport or near train stations.
The nearest airports are Florence and Pisa. The closest train stations, in addition to Siena, are Florence, Grosseto, and Chiusi.

Reach Villa Renata by car
Take the A1 motorway and exit at Florence Impruneta.
At the roundabout just after the toll booth, take the first exit following the signs for Siena and enter the expressway (Florence–Siena). Continue along it for about 57 km until you reach Siena.
Before entering the city, follow the signs for Grosseto to join the Siena–Grosseto expressway. Continue for about 19 km.
After passing an AGIP petrol station with a bar on your left, be careful: after about 150 meters, turn right following the signs for Monticiano (you will join SP32A / Strada delle Pinete).
Follow SP32A for 13 km until the junction for Monticiano. Turn left and enter the village square, where you will see the Coop supermarket on your right.
Continue straight, keeping the Coop on your right, and follow the road towards Grosseto.
After about 200 meters, turn right into Via Borgianni (you will also see a sign for the horse riding track). Follow the road for about 1 km, passing through the residential area.
At the end of the paved road, take the unpaved downhill road on the right.
Continue for another 200 meters, passing a few farmhouses: you will have arrived at Villa Renata.
Take the Florence–Pisa–Livorno expressway (Fi-Pi-Li) towards Florence.
Pass the Lastra a Signa exit and, near Florence, enter the A1 motorway towards Rome.
Continue on the A1 for about 5 km and take the Florence Impruneta exit.

Keeping to the right, follow the signs for Siena.
Join the Valdichiana–Siena expressway and continue for about 43 km.

- From the Via Aurelia SS1 (coming from Civitavecchia), continue past the Grosseto exit.
Follow the signs for Roselle / Siena and join the E78 towards Siena, continuing for about 50 km.
Once you reach Ponte a Macereto, you will see the restaurant “La Locanda del Ponte”.
After about 200 meters from the restaurant, turn left following the signs for Monticiano (you will join SP32A / Strada delle Pinete).
Follow SP32A for 13 km until the junction for Monticiano. Turn left and enter the village square, where you will see the Coop supermarket on your right.
Continue straight, keeping the Coop on your right, and follow the road towards Grosseto.
